Notification Snooze

The Snooze functionality is designed to give users temporary control over task-related notifications. When a task is approaching its due date or becomes overdue, users can snooze notifications for that specific task for a defined period of time. During the snooze window, all reminders and alerts related to the task are paused, helping users reduce distraction while maintaining accountability.

Improved Task Creation

Previously, only OnBuddy admins could create tasks on OnBuddy. This was to help keep things organized. However, we are seeing more and more organizations willing to use OnBuddy as their primary task management tool. Out of necessity, we have now given every member of an organization the ability to create tasks. To help manage tasks, we will be introducing "Spaces" as a collection of related tasks.

Improved Socket Connection

Socket connection refers to the real-time connection between the OnBuddy app running on your browser and the OnBuddy backend servers. We have rebuilt that connection from scratch to give us better control than what your browser would normally give us. Now, connections are maintained for longer periods, even when you switch to other browser tabs or away from the browser. This ensures you keep getting important updates in real time, without the need to refresh the page.

Delete Member

Admins can now remove members from their organization directly from the Members page. Simply click the action menu on any member row in the members table and select "Delete" to remove them from the organization.

Bug Fixes

This release also includes several bug fixes and performance improvements:

Fixed issues preventing admins from changing company logos
Fixed an issue preventing users from changing their own profile pictures
Fixed an issue causing OnBuddy to send outdated notifications
Fixed an issue preventing the successful installation and uninstallation of Google integrations
Fixed an issue preventing documents imported from Google Drive from being accessible to the OnBuddy agent
Fixed wrong links in various notifications
